2011’
for Crusade Against
Corruption
Shri Ashok Khemka exposed
illegal and arbitrary allotment of government houses in Chandigarh,
non-existent employees of State Administrative Reforms Commission, the nexus
between the suppliers of bricks and the government departments and illegal
transfer of prime land in Gurgaon to a builder at a vastly reduced rate. He showed courage in refusing to implement
transfer orders of teachers issued by his superiors, which were contrary to the
policy of the Government.
Shri Ashok Khemka is jointly awarded ‘S R Jindal Prize – 2011’ for
‘Crusade against Corruption’ with a cash prize of
Rs. 10 Lakhs with Shri Sanjiv
Chaturvedi for his fearless efforts in exposing corruption in high places. |
